๐ Definition (OSHA 29 CFR 1926.32(f)): A competent person is defined as: "One who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them."
โ ๏ธ Responsibility: The subcontractor Project Manager and the subcontractor Competent Person(s) assigned to the project will complete this form and submit it to the Project Manager or Superintendent along with the competent person's qualifications prior to accessing the jobsite.
If multiple competent persons are designated, submit individual forms for each. If a competent person changes, update and resubmit this form. The competent person must be present 100% of the time the activity requiring them is taking place.
